Come along and learn to ride a Bike!
The Big Bike Revival is a behaviour change intervention with a vision to make cycling accessible to everyone. Our mission is to deliver free events that enable a community to start cycling through fixing bikes, teaching skills and leading rides.
The programme is funded by Department for Transport, supported by local authorities and together we address a clear set of aims and objectives:
- Encourage people who don’t already, to cycle
- Encourage people to cycle more often
- Increase short cycling journeys
- Improve the perception of cycle safety
- Improve peoples confidence to cycle
These sessions are FREE but you must book your space/s. For a more detailed breakdown of what we're offering and when and where to book your space/s, keep reading.
Want to learn to ride but don't have a bike?
Please email ribblevalleyadventure@gmail.com to discuss if you need to borrow a bike once you've booked.
Last Year Dean joined us for many sessions (through all manner of weather) and helped people fix up their bikes, taught them how to be more confident riders and also led us on group-rides along the Leeds-Liverpool canal!
