Chip In Youth Volunteering Exhibition 2024 13th - 23rd March

There are some great opportunities coming up to get involved in or to help celebrate the work of young people involved in the Chip In Project.

The Chip In exhibition, featuring work by young people involved in the programme across the borough, will be held at the former Lewis Textile Museum on Exchange Street, Blackburn (next to the Making Rooms) from 13th to 23rd March. Groups of young people have been working on this for a couple of months, and there will be much more in our March newsletter about the exhibition.

If you are part of Chip In or are working with Chip In volunteers, there are two new ways for young people to get involved;

  • Create a piece of artwork (no bigger than A3) depicting 'A day in the life of a Chip In Volunteer.'
  • Help hang and invigilate the exhibition. Working with Jack, an experienced curator, it's a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop experience and confidence in working in a gallery.

To find out more about these opportunities email Jack.
