The Bureau exists because of the hard work of a group of local volunteers who took took on an abandoned building and created an art centre. As we have continued to grow, volunteers still play a crucial role in different areas of the the organisation.
People volunteer for all sorts of reasons – to give back to the community, to develop skills or add to their CV, to build confidence or to be part of a community project.
