Today marks our tenth anniversary. TEN whole years of bringing community arts to the heart of Blackburn.
TEN years, three buildings, one community.
The Bureau Centre for the Arts CIC (not for profit) was set up on this day, 10th March 2015 as an independent, grassroots, artist led, community Arts Centre to be a creative home and hub for the people of Blackburn.
For 10 years we have provided a space for arts activities, exhibitions, performances, music, cultural events and community participation. We have regular weekly activities, plus exciting one off events that create a full programme of accessible arts experiences and opportunities for all to enjoy.
During the next twelve months we will be continuing and expanding our programme, and also hosting special events to celebrate our achievements…including a TEN celebration, an archive exhibition showcasing the hundreds of events that have been held over the decade and a range of TEN themed ways to get involved and to support us.
More information regarding this will be coming very soon, so subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you are kept in the loop and keep checking back here too!
