Pre-sales are really important for artists and venues- many creative grassroots venues are sailing close to the edge and events with low advance numbers are increasingly having to be cancelled.
If you want to come to something we have on, please book in advance, and please please help us out by sharing, telling people, bringing a friend etc. We hate to have to cancel anything but we still have to pay out all the associated costs even if no one comes and this is what drives businesses to closure.

Pretty Shivers
Pretty Shivers don't look or sound like your typical Northern Rock band. Although they hail from the dark. misty valleys of Darwen. Lancashire you'd be forgiven for eyeballing the flares. leather jackets and haircuts, and placing them at Los Angeles
sunset strip in the 1970s. However, don't mistake their flamboyant attire for style over substance, as they maintain a down to earth. steely Northern grit and attitude.
The band's sound also has an unmistakably retro feel, combining elements of Rock & Roll, Power Pop, Americana, Country & Soul. Their influences include Fleetwood Mac. Roxette, Jefferson Starship, Blondie, The Beatles, The Supremes, Heart & The Rolling Stones.
Despite wearing nostalgia unashamedly on their sleeve, they still seem to create something that sounds completely fresh and new, bringing old-school vibes kicking and screaming into the 2020s, with modern production values and pop sensibilities. Pretty Shivers released their first two singles: Running Away and Bonnie & Clyde in 2024. The songs boast sumptuous string sections, soaring vocal harmonies, electrifying guitar work and a relentlessly
driving rhythm section, showcasing a taste of whats to come from their debut EP. due to be released in Spring 2025.

Beth Blade
Beth Blade is a British rock vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter best known as the frontwoman for the Cardiff-based hard rock band Beth Blade and the Beautiful Disasters. Born in Blackburn, Lancashire, she is self-decribed as a “Red Headed, Rock 'n' Roll singing, Guitar Riffing Banshee”, and has become a celebrated figure in the UK rock scene. She is an advocate for domestic violence survivors.
